Please visit our memorial tree for quiet contemplation in Chatsworth park for August 2nd, it can easily be spotted as it will be decorated with flowers and blue red and green ribbons.
In 2020 there was an online commemoration for August 2nd information, it can be found at https://www.travellerstimes.org.uk/news 2019 commemorated 75 years since the Holocaust. There will be a special commemoration in Krakow Poland from July 31st to August 3rd which members of DGLG attended |

“Chavis a sutti pa duvel”
Permission for the tree was given by Their Graces, the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and special permission was given for it to be planted in the main park. This tree can be found in the main park, going just to the side of the cattle grid at the Calton Lees side of the park.

Dedication of new plaque will be taking place this year on August 2nd in Chatsworth Park further information to follow
In the same year Derbyshire County Council also planted a tree in collaboration with the local Gypsy and Jewish community
