Derbyshire Police - www.derbyshire.police.uk Moving Forward National Police Training Project Derbyshire Gypsy Liaison Group in conjunction with Pride not Prejudice is formulating a specialist training package for community members. This course will be accredited with Derby University. The intention is that we have enough members from the Romany Gypsy and Irish Traveller communities to undertake diversity and cultural awareness training with emphasis on our own communities. The training then can be undertaken for the Police, social services and other agencies. This project is a local and national project it is funded locally by Derbyshire Community Foundation Sustainable Communities Fund.
